Prospera has been helping Hispanic entrepreneurs start new businesses in Florida since 1991. This nonprofit economic development organization works with new and existing Hispanic business owners to help ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Prospera grants are awarded on an individual basis and provide for professional services related to legal and accounting assessments, business plans, QuickBooks consulting, marketing plans and brand kits at no cost to the business owner.

Business Consulting

Prospera’s small business consultants provide individual, personalized, and ongoing guidance to help new and experienced entrepreneurs identify opportunities, optimize operational and management processes, and navigate challenges. In-culture and in-language assistance tailored for Hispanic entrepreneurs ranges from evaluating the viability of new business ideas, to financial analysis, brand development, marketing planning, and procurement readiness, among others.

Access to Capital

Prospera offers clients guidance and handholding along the process to secure the funding needed to grow their businesses. From credit improvement to loan application preparation, services include planning for capital needs, developing business plans and presentations, introductions to potential lenders, and assistance in applying for SBA, conventional, and micro-loans.
